Senior Primary Centre
This excellent facility features an Information
Technology Resource Centre, a multi-media presentation area and classrooms
complete with information technology resources. This facility also is fully
equipped with undercover eating areas, toilet and change room facilities.
Junior Information Technology Centre
The Junior students also have access to their own Computing
Centre. This room features with good numbers of computers and students from
Prep onwards are able to build a great range of new technology skills through
Music is an important part of life at Shemford. The
Music Centre is an excellent facility that consists of a large music classroom
where band, music ensembles, choir rehearsals and general music classes are
held. The Music Centre also has several smaller rooms that provide
opportunities for specialist instrumental tuition.
Students at Shemford Futuristic School learn one of
the foreign languages as an additional subject to develop oneself an
international attitude. Our specialist foreign language teacher utilises a
specially equipped centre for the learning of this language.
Classrooms and corridors are attractively decorated
with student work. All classrooms and specialists areas are connected to the
school Information Resource Centre Network and are air conditioned. An air
conditioned, well equipped, State-of-art Linguistic lab has been provided to
the students. The lab has 30 cabins for 30 students to work at a time with
Lingua phone lab machines/computers for XI & XII. Such a facility is
extended to classes VI-IX .Books have been as well as written among our school
student, these are available in the linguistic lab. .LCD projectors are used in
all the classes (KG-12) and science lab.
Junior Science Lab
A junior science lab has been established for
project making & for science practical from classes I-V.

sporting facilities for general play and for Physical Education classes. The
grounds are attractive and well maintained.
This facility is used as an indoor sports facility
and for whole-School Assemblies . The facility also contains the School
Canteen, which operates five days a week.
Visual Arts Room
All students have specialist Art classes once a
week. Students are involved in a wide variety of art activities from clay work
to painting and drawing. An audio-visual centre with carefully chosen teaching
aids and instruments for instructional purposes.
KG has been introduced since 2016. The new Pre KG
block at the Junior School Campus is the centre of attraction of our school. It
is fully air conditioned and constructed exclusively for the tiny tots.
Indoor And Outdoor Games
A spacious Indoor Games Room is built in the main
ground to play indoor games like Carom, Chess, Billiards and Table Tennis. It
covers an area of nearly 1200 sq. ft.. It has two rooms. One for playing Indoor
Games and another one for storing all the games accessories.
It has a beautiful landscape on the main side and has enough number of trees on
all the sides for fresh and free air circulation. Spacious play grounds with
facilities for out-door games like Hockey, Football, Cricket, Kabaddi,
Tennicoit, Badminton, Volley Ball, Kho-Kho, Tennis and Athletics. Scout and
Guide training for the pupils of classes VI to VIII. And Bulbul for the
juniors. Special training for march-past during the national functions and
sports day celebrations by a trained Physical Director.
Multipurpose Outdoor Arena
A Spacious Multipurpose Outdoor Playground is built
to play outdoor games and it will be best utilised to conduct all major
functions in our school. It consists of three outdoor courts viz., Basketball,
Tennis and Volleyball. All the posts are movable posts. It covers an area of
nearly 27,000 sq. feet and can accommodate 2500 persons at a time. It has also
a demarcated area for students to Skate around. Football and Cricket are also
integrated as a part of games activities. Karate, Yoga, Veena, Carrom, Dance
and Western Music specially Piano, Roller Skating and Chess taught for I std to
IX std & XI std as apart of extra-curricular activities by experts in the
A modern canteen along with a dining hall with a
view to feed 50 students at a time. Fresh and Hygiene foods are available. Food
Services available on self-service basis. Water Filtration plants is installed
for regular supply of hygienic water.
Well set up infirmary, designed to accommodate
15-20 students, built with state-of-art, with modern equipments. The school
ambulance transports students during emergencies and is also used for the
conveyance of students to specialists. Trained staff nurse is provided to take
special medical care for the sick students. Once in every two months, periodic
health check up is conducted to the students by a renowned paediatrician and
subsequently medical report for each and every student is updated to the parents.
The school has one qualified and experienced
counsellor. He/S offers one-to-one confidential advice and support, as well as
working with groups. He/S cooperates in the work of tutors and Housemasters
and, indeed, all staff where appropriate, to ensure seamless communication
flows whilst respecting the boundaries of professional confidentiality. Our
counsellor liaises closely with other staff and parents, too. Students are
strongly encouraged to seek individual appointments with the school counsellor.
Student welfare is monitored by the Dean of Student Welfare and the school
doctor together, and they regularly meet the Director and the Principal to
brief them on issues.
